Beautyfill® gets where no other injectable implant does, with no need for a surgical procedure. In fact, Beautyfill® is an excellent non-surgical option for correcting facial depressions. Surgically placed implants are associated with the inconveniences of an invasive procedure, which almost always involves the use of general anesthesia, a longer recovery period and some effects possible resulting from surgical interventions, such as infection, important edema, and inflammation.

Apart from aging, the integrity of the face can also be disrupted by congenital, traumatic, medical and iatrogenic causes. Beautyfill® can be used for the restoration of facial features in those patients who present with deep depressions caused by lipoatrophies, fractures, deep scars, asymmetries, etc.

Safety

Calcium hydroxyapatite has been used in a broad variety of medical applications for more than three decades.

Post-marketing experience shows that most applications last up to 18 months. During this time, the hydroxyapatite particles are degraded through dissolution into calcium and phosphate ions, common elements of the body.
